DVD Synopsis

This holiday tale offers a spin on the classic Clement C. Moore creation The Night Before Christmas. Gregory is a mouse who accidentally learns of a plan by an evil elf to keep Santa from delivering presents to all the good boys and girls. He sets off to stop the bad elf and gets help from a variety of beings including a fairy, an owl, and an older mouse. A grumpy fairy tries to thwart Christmas by casting a wicked spell to deter Santa from delivering gifts to the children, but as usual the hero (a talking mouse)intervenes and saves the day, and the spell is revoked by the beautiful Queen Fairy. Santa is safe! Filled with campy little songs, messages of being brave, fighting for whats right, not giving up, learning the true meaning of Christmas, and ending with the characters reading the traditional poem, your kids will like it. By no means is it Rudolph or the Grinch, but it has its entertainment value for the little ones. I give it three stars and would paly it for 4-8 year olds.
