DVD Synopsis
In this thriller, American novelist David Raybourne (Andrew McCarthy) accidentally becomes entangled in the Red Brigade's terrorist plan to kidnap Italian Premier Aldo Moro during a research trip to Rome. John Frankenheimer directed this political thriller, which gets a strong presentation in this DVD edition. Year of the Gun has been given a widescreen transfer at the aspect ratio of 1.66:1; the image is letterboxed on conventional televisions and enhanced for 16 x 9 playback on widescreen monitors. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround Sound. The dialogue is in English with subtitles in Spanish and English, and includes closed captions in English.
