Johnny Cash: Ridin' the Rails has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1; the slightly soft and grainy images betray the fact that this was shot in 16mm on a low budget, but the colors are vivid and the source materials are in solid condition. The program is in English, with no subtitles or multiple language options, while the soundtrack is presented in both Dolby Digital Stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1.
