DVD Synopsis

Aloha, Bobby & Rose was conceived and promoted as a contemporary Bonnie and Clyde. Paul LeMat plays Bobby, an auto mechanic, while Diane Hull is Rose, a car-wash jockey; the two fall in love and dream of heading off to Hawaii, hence the title. Editorial Review of DVD

Floyd Mutrux's road movie Aloha, Bobby and Rose comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials include the theatrical trailer, and biographies of the cast. This is a solid release from Anchor Bay that offers excellent picture quality for a little-known film. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide
