Editorial Review of DVD

The Andy Kaufman/Bernadette Peters robot love story classic Heartbeeps finally makes its way to DVD with this edition from Universal Home Entertainment. Though it contains no special features (no trailer?), there is something to be said about finally having an anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen print of the beloved cult flick around for anyone to buy. A Dolby Digital 2.0 audio track has been included and, like the picture, does a fine job of preserving this odd little gem. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, All Movie Guide
