The life of Jesus Christ is explored in the made-for-TV mini-series Jesus. The film is presented in a decent looking 1.33:1 full frame transfer that sports well saturated black levels and bright, bold colors. Aside of a small amount of pixilation, this transfer of the film seems to be in excellent condition without any dirt, grain or other imperfections marring the image. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround in English and is generally clear and concise. While this track doesn't feature a multitude of surround sounds or directional effects, it is free of any excessive hiss or distortion. No alternate subtitles or soundtracks have been included on this disc. The extra features on Jesus aren't very plentiful -- all that's included on this disc is a music video by singer LeAnn Rimes for the song "I Need You", a text read "Letter from the Pope," and a short 7-minute featurette about the music from the film and why the various artists choose certain songs. ~ Patrick Naugle, All Movie Guide
