In this black comedy, a criminal discovers a market for murder in the suburbs. After doing time in prison, mobster Jimmy the Tulip (Bruce Willis) moves to a suburban neighborhood. Jonathan Lynn's slapstick hit-man comedy The Whole Nine Yards comes to DVD with two different transfers. The anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 image is preferable to the standard full-frame 1.33:1 image. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Subtitles are available in both of those languages as well. Supplemental materials include a feature-length commentary by the director, a collection of interviews with various cast members, filmographies of the cast, and the theatrical trailer.
