We very much enjoy the 'happy ending escape' scene that was on our VHS copy of this classic movie. Yet all the 'newer' versions omit that. Thanks to calvinnme's review I now know that what we would like to get ahold of is the 1982 release which seems to be the 3rd disc in the 4 or 5 disc sets. On the off chance that some one has a stray (DVD) disc of this, I wanted to post a request here. If not I will end up ordering the 4 disc set. Please PM me if you have the 1982 theatrical version and are willing to let it go. Thanks! |
