I just received a movie and the sender put scotch tape on the dvd to hold it in place, instead of tissue or bubble wrap.  While I was trying to unstick the scotch tape, part of the art and title peeled off the front.  Is this movie unpostable now?  And what would be a polite way of asking for the scotch tape not be used?  The movie is playing without any problems.

I really dont like it when people do that either. In my opinion its a huge time waster for the recepient because you have to sit there and try to very carefully take it off, it often either wrecks the top of the disc or leaves residue. As far as I would think though it should still be postable. I wouldnt consider the top of the disc to be the artwork (that is designed to be the actual paper with title/info/etc), so I would say its fine as long as it plays.

Yes, it played fine, but it sure does look bad.
