Anyone seen Monster Squad?  A great little 80s gem aimed at kids, but definitely pushes the envelope with questionable language & dialogue...not to mention a little GORE thrown in for good measure.  Good starter horror flick for the kiddies though!

I loved this movie as a kid. "Wolfman's got nards." was one of my favorite lines. I had to buy it when the anniversary edition came out. The important thing to remember as a parent is that your kids are going to hear/see stuff and use language that some refer to as foul. It is all about teaching kids when it is okay to use certain language and when it is not okay. As for gore I just thought it was cool or ignored it.

I loved Rango. I'll be showing it to my kids for sure, when I have them. And Danny DeVito's Matilda as well.
