I received a Region 0 dvd, which I know is acceptable. What I want to make sure about is that it also says "This dvd is for sale only in Canada" and goes on about unauthorized use and distribution. I know that movies from all over the world make it here and ours there, but I just want to make sure this is allowed on the site. I have never seen that before, so it is new to me. I don't want to repost it at some point and then find it isn't allowed. Thanks.

There are many Canadian DVD releases in the SwapaDVD database. Often you can identify these by clicking the amazon.com link, so I would recommend doing that for the title in question.

I have ordered from other sites Canadian dvds, Region 1 or Region A Blus.  I think you will have a problem with Region O.

"SwapaDVD is unable to allow the barter or exchange of any imported DVDs that do not have a verifiable UPC  and Region 1 (North America) encoding.   Unfortunately, many imported DVDs that lack a UPC are illegal copies rather than legitimately produced titles.  Likewise, many illegally produced DVDs have "Region 0" or "Region ALL" encoding allowing them to be played worldwide. If SwapaDVD allows trading of pirated DVDs, we are potentially liable for contributory copyright infringement, a risk we as a company are not willing to take.  Because we have no way of verifying the authenticity of individual discs, we must insist that all imported DVDs traded here have both UPCs and Region 1 encoding.  Blu Rays must be Region A.

Your strict compliance with this policy is required to maintain your account status."

Unfortunately their post was from 2014 so they will likely not see your response :(

This post was bumped because of that KIng person that spammed the site a couple weeks ago, but since it was my post I had it saved. I have no idea what the movie was so I dont know what happened with it, it might still be on my shelf or maybe it was a freebie I offered, or I might have given it away. I think I have actually seen older posts than this one get replies because of that guy.
