Topic: Swapping a blu-ray disc without its companion DVD (or vice versa)

I have an issue that many other members might share, and would like to know how to deal with it. Films are now often sold in a bundle with both a blu-ray and DVD disc, but generally people only need one format. I would like to swap several blu-ray discs (including the containers), as I only need the DVD's. Currently, there's no way to do this. Using the original UPC # would result in the receiving member being charged too many credits. Has anyone figured out how to deal with this, or is there a mechanism currently in place? If not, it may be time for the DVD Swap management to make some accomodation for this new reality. Does anyone know how to contact them? Any ideas would be welcome! Jeanette

Hi Jeanette, You can offer those discs in the DVD BAZAAR You can ask for 2 credits per Blu-ray disc and 1 credit per DVD disc. Just state they are unpostable and state the reasons why. Ask members to post in the thread and pm you what they want. They should buddy you the credits and send you their address. You can offer things that are unpostable such as: upc not in system torn artwork or no artwork disc only partial sets such as Blu-ray combo packs, series, etc.

Valerie is correct, you can post those in the bazaar. Be sure to say they are "unpostable" and describe as "Blu-ray only" (or DVD only) "with combo art." You should mention they will come with a "case," too. Many people list Blu-ray combos without the DVD. Look in the WL multiples thread for examples of how people list those.
