"4 more episodes of the Classic TV series with a few interesting twists:

The first two episodes THE BROTHERS and THE INTRUDERS both feature Rufus Cruickshank as Little John who took over for about 11 episodes when Aricie Duncan was injured on set while saving some kids from a falling piece of the set. Cruickshank made a good little John was a bit taller and had a deeper voice. Both actors did a first rate job on the role and I enjoy them both

FOOD FOR THOUGHT is one of several episodes that features Patrick Troughton who would later gain fame as the 2nd DOCTOR WHO. He appeared in the series several times as many different characters with heavy makeup and many voices to match.

THE DESERTED CASTLE is one of two episodes featuring the queen mother and also the second of two episdoes with the first Will Scarlett. This is one of the better episodes of the series.

Btw one thing to mention. The cases on all of these episodes have color pictures but all the episodes are black and white, but if you are reading this review you likely already know it.

Buy it. I did."
Buy By The Season!

"I purchased from Amazon.co.uk each of the four seasons of "The Adventures of Robin Hood" - all 143 episodes - for about $20 per season.

Digital transfer was excellent and our entire family has enjoyed the series. Packaging involved sturdy plastic cases, each containing 2 DVD's, with 8 episodes per disk. I found this a great value and wanted to recommend it to others interested in the Robin Hood series."
It is a good souvenir from my Youth

"It is a good souvenir from my Youth. It is in black and white and the sound is not perfect but it always remember me the time when I was only 8 years old. If you do not know the classic series of Robin Hood, buy at least the DVD #1 to learn of Robin of Loxley is become Robin Hood."
