I gave this 4 stars. It is a very well acted representation of a POW camp as it would have been in the South at the time of the Civil War.

A real gem

"I watched this mini-series on television years ago and had forgotten how good it is when I watched it again. Great acting and a great story will keep you hooked the whole way through. The prison break, fight with the Raiders, and the trial are all deeply emotional events that are awesome to watch unfold. I like movies that really get into the Hobbesian social contract issue of survival Vs. sustaining order.
