Wonderful DVD, One of the best epic stories ever!
Branden Burell | Atlanta, GA United States | 06/29/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Beginning with Crest of the Stars and continuing with Banner of the Stars, this epic story is about the Abh Princess Lafiel of the Abriel family and a Count Jinto Lin, a human who has become an Abh Nobleman. In Banner of the Stars, 3 years have past since Crest of the Stars, and Jinto and Lafiel are stationed aboard the same ship, the Basroil. Lafiel has become the Captain of the Basroil, and Jinto become the Noble Secretary.
In Volume three of the series, Operation Pantom Flame is beginning to heat up as the Abh Armada prepares for final battle stationing its forces around two key sords.
The primary battlefield, and main key sord is the Aptic Gate, which, is where the Basroil is assigned. As the United Mankind Armada draws nearer, and endless waves of enemy mines dampen spirits, the Basroil struggles to stay alive, while the young Imperial Princess strives to make a name for herself.
Amazing battle scenes and a wonderful back story makes this anime one of a kind.
I would recommend watching the entire Crest of the Stars series first to fully comprehend Banner of the Stars. THE singlemost wonderful anime series ever to be created, Crest and Banner aim to please. These DVDs will not dissapoint."
