Movie Reviews

Not that impressed

"I can't understand why this film, which is presented in English, contains graphics that are in Spanish. In fact, all of the graphics in the program are in Spanish. For instance, when it shows a witness' name on the screen, by their name it will say "testimone". The titles of whole chapters don't make any sense to me because of this. The other glaring annoyance is the narrator. He's a british chap, and all of his "R's" sound like "W's", so you have phrases like: cwedible wesearch and wadar scweens. It also sounds like he is simply reading a script (weading a scwipt) that was quickly translated from another language (Spanish?) because when he refers to contactee George Admaski, he refers to him as "contact George Adamski" several times. There are frequent pauses in the presentatinon to make room for random clips of various researchers and abductees talking about the presence of extraterrestrial life on earth and how great "they are", statements that are completely unrelated to anything else going on in the film. I own over 125 books on UFOs and I own several video productions and documentaries on the subject. The only redeeming factor in this product is the actual UFO video footage it contains, although the first ten minutes or so discusses a piece of hoaxed video and it is presented as the best footage ever. Not a good way to start off with a viewer like myself. Sure, I'm jaded, but surely UFOTV could have done better. I'll have to be more cautious on my next video purchase."
