First off, I know zilch about tennis and would never watch an actual game. But I gave this movie a whirl b/c of Simmons/a minor role + Sisto/main character. The kid (who is now an adult actor with an impressive filmography) held his own with all the adults in the movie. The brothers dealing with their personal pain on + off the court was realistic. The tennis BALL strategy was so funny, if you find humor in creative passive-aggression. I would have watched a sequel.

Slow start but really took off and David Walton, Jeremy Sisto and the kid were the stars in this. A must watch for tennis fans!

Great movie for any one who plays tennis!! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed and totally related to all the tennis jargon , struggles, hi jinx, etc. Look it is not an Oscar film but very entertaining for any of you out there that love the game and play it, you will no be disappointed . Filmed in LA on the courts at Griffith Park and some local high school, so if you live in LA and have played on those courts as we have , it is a double double !!
