Dangerous Babes? It's a bit of a misnomer for this set of movies!

The Virgin Queen of St. Francis High (1987) - What a dumb movie. Horrible script and horrible direction. A guy tries to woo a girl for money. He's a pathological liar (and a lousy one at that) and the intelligent girl can't even see that. If you've got an hour and a half of your life to throw away then watch this awful movie. No dangerous babes in this one, just a dumb one.

Click: The Calendar Girl Killer (1990) - A psychotic male cross-dresser is seeking revenge from his childhood mistreatment by his mother by killing beautiful models. Slightly better than The Virgin Queen movie. No dangerous babes in this one, just a dangerous man who dresses like a woman.

Blue Money (1972) - A movie about a supposed illegal porn industry that just doesn't have any substance. Scenes about making porn movies, selling the movies, and occasional surveillance footage leads up to an arrest of the owner/producer. He tells the cop that he's going to get on his boat and sail out into the ocean (an attempt to avoid prosecution?) then the movie ends. No dangerous babes in this one, just a few hot babes.

Sextette (1978) - A musical? Features a past her prime, 85-year-old Mae West in her last appearance on film as a movie star. It's the Mae West Show! No wonder, as she was co-writer, it presents the typical Mae with her sexual innuendo and one-liners throughout. She marries 22-year-old Timothy Dalton in this flick. Is he that desperate to marry a woman 60+ years his senior? The movie has numerous movie stars and even a few rock and roll icons, but it doesn't make the movie any better. It's watchable, but I'd give it a 4/10. No dangerous babes in this one, just one over-the-hill ex-babe?

French Quarter (1978) - Finally, a watchable movie in this set! February 1975 Playboy Playmate of the Month Laura Misch appears in this move. It starts out set in the late 1970's following a down-on-her-luck young lady who's father has died and left her in debt. She goes to New Orleans looking for work. One thing leads to another until she ends up visiting a voodoo queen who drugs her. She goes into a dream state set 60 years earlier where she is brought into the world of high-class prostitution. The movie is interesting and holds your attention while you wonder what is actually happening and where is it going to end up? There's a little surprise twist at the end. I rate this a 5/10. The voodoo queen is the dangerous "babe" in this one, I suppose.

Night Club (1989) - Full of fantasies, flashbacks, dream sequences and hallucinations, the movie just wanders aimlessly and throws in nudity and implied sex scenes in an attempt to keep it interesting. Nothing makes sense. Boring and weird. The dangerous babe in this one is one man's wife, or is she his mistress, or is she both, or is she neither and she's just in his imagination?

Separate Ways (1981) - Another decent movie with lots of well known actors and actresses. A couple drift apart and each has an affair while the man's car dealership crumbles beneath him. No dangerous babes in this one, just Karen Black showing off her body.

Hot Target (1985) - A wealthy, married woman begins an affair with a man that she later finds out is a burglar. While burgling her house, he can't resist waking her for another tryst before he leaves. They are discovered by her husband and a fight occurs ending with the husband being killed. You'll have to watch it to find out the police investigation and the end result. No dangerous babes in this one, just a sexy, wealthy wife that can't keep her clothes on.

The Sister-in-Law (1974) - For a movie that is supposed to be about smuggling, a lot of time is spent on the adultery part of the movie. It's not a bad movie, but certainly could have been done better. There is a good plot twist at the end. I guess the dangerous babe in this one is Joanna who has an affair with her brother-in-law.

Noon Sunday (1970) - Two mercenaries are hired to commit a political assassination. The dangerous babe in this one is Kalin who is killed off 37 minutes into the movie.

Weekend with the Babysitter (1970) - While the father is having a weekend affair with the babysitter, his junkie wife is getting mixed up in a drug deal off the coast of Mexico. The story was fair, but seemed incomplete. The only dangerous babe in this one might be Doris (Annik Borel) who has an implied lesbian tryst with Mona Carlton (Luanne Roberts) on the boat that the drug deal is supposed to take place.

Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold (aka Yellow Hair and the Pecos Kid) (1984) - A peculiar western/Aztec mashup that ends like it's an old movie theater serial. Yellow Hair is the dangerous babe in this one because she shoots and fights the bad guys.
