Julie Christie is impregnated by a Rubik's Snake in this inappropriately named thriller. Demon seed makes no sense as a title since the AI that imprisons her in the home is perhaps more HAL9000 than Rosemary's Baby. In fact, the ending leaves you guessing, good or bad? but certainly nothing to do with demons. I've never read Koontz's book, but the script is sufficiently cheesy that only an actress of Christie's capability saves it from being stupid. She provides enough credibility that the authors' likely intent shows through in the end.

Before there was a Matrix, there was Proteus. This was before it's time with it's plotline and special effects before all the unbelievable CGI at times during the Matrix films. A must for horror, A.I., and Matrix fans!
