Filmed in a somewhat "documentary" style this movie is highly entertaining in a dark and grizzly sort of way. Once started viewers cannot help but need to follow the pair of L.A. cops along on their nightly watch.

Insanely entertaining but very brutal at times. A must watch for Training Day fans! I planned a 4/5 rating but the ending fell a bit short in my opinion.

This was a cool movie and very well done. Jake G. and Michael Pena cruise South Central LA as police partners.

I was impressed with the film although I am not a cop. Those in law-enforcement may view it differently. Of course policing small town Nebraska is probably different from big city California. You be the judge.

Some of the film is shot through vid cams which simply adds to the movie. Jake G. is taking a class so he brings a camera along to work. This is not overdone.

The pair stumble across some unusual crime scenes which draws the attention of the cartel heads.

There are some shootouts, chases, gang stuff, etc. All the things that make a police movie worthwhile.

No more spoilers here. Watch it and you will probably be impressed.

Definitely worth a look.
