The third album for the group Celtic Thunder is every bit as entertaining as their previous ones. After watching this, you feel as though you've just been to a great, engaging concert. The guys obviously show they throughly enjoy what they are doing.....entertaining you!
This album has a few more numbers in the show that Americans will recognize on first hearing, which is a good move.In the music business you can't go on and on doing the same music album after album. So this one's a bit different, but still Celtic Thunder. Our family has watched it 4 or 5 times and haven't tired of it at all. In fact we all look forward to our next viewings of it.
This album is very special because it includes a lot of real quality interviews along with film of the original auditions for the first Celtic Thunder album, The Show.
Once you watch this, you'll want to make it part of your permanent collection.

Fantastical DVD
Cajun Transplant | Southern Mississippi | 09/09/2010
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I know that "fantastical" is not a word, but I use it all the time to describe this wonderful DVD. IT'S ENTERTAINMENT! is a very apt title for this production. It is, without a doubt, the most entertaining 60 minutes I've ever experienced. The talents of these musicians and singers are marvelous. My wife said she counted 76 WOWS!!!! from me in the first 15 minutes of this show. She became so involved in watching that she lost count. It's great."
The DVD and CD Are NOT Created Equal

"I can't believe I'm rating a Celtic Thunder release as anything less than five stars, but I knocked off two points for this release. I have a specific reason for each.

1. I knocked one point off for the DVD version not including "Amazing Grace" or Neil Byrne's rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star," both of which are beautiful and deserve to be included, particularly since they've not been on previous DVD releases. Two other songs from the CD are missing as well. I would love to hear a rationale for leaving those out.

2. The second point gets knocked off because this DVD is 12 songs shorter than their debut, and 13 songs shorter than their sophomore effort. I could perhaps have overlooked this, if four of the songs included weren't ones that were on one (or both) of their previous DVDs. Much as I love "Ireland's Call," I'd have rather had the songs I mentioned in my first point, especially since "Ireland's Call" was on BOTH of their prior DVD releases. With four of the songs on this release having been presented on one or both of the previous DVDs, we have only 12 new songs here, which makes the absence of four songs from the Audio CD version seem all the more egregious.

Other than those two glaring points, this is a wonderful DVD. The guys all sound incredible, as usual, and a couple of the performances are chill-inducing, they're so good. "Hallelujah" is hauntingly beautiful, and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is one of the group's best ensemble numbers yet.

There should be a separate rating for us to give Amazon; I was tempted to knock a third star off my review because Amazon's product description says both "Amazing Grace" and "When You Wish Upon a Star" are included. A close look reveals that the DVD description in place as of this writing was lifted word for word from the CD release. I may be contacting Amazon to complain about false advertising, since none of the product images shows the song listing. As a customer, I shouldn't have to skim through 100+ product reviews to get an accurate description of a product I'm purchasing, or look at the product information on another site. I'm pretty sure Amazon's use of incorrect product details is a violation of US law."
