A nice family (and adult) movie with a good storyline with some great learning moments (why is family important, don't judge a book by its cover, etc). Personally, I think Robert Preston wasn't the right person for the role of "Grandpa" but he played the part well.

Synopsis: To keep from being split up, the recently orphaned Bankston children ask a homeless man, Joe, to pose as their grandfather. When Joe takes the job more seriously than they expected and tried to bring order to their lives, the children rebel. They all must learn what it takes to make a real family or they'll soon be separated.
