"My son liked the latest DVD from Galloping Minds which is Baby Learns Shapes and Colors. This is the older version of the DVD. I thought I would add this review, just to mention this.."
Kates Mom. Hooked on education

"I watched this video with my daughter Kate with the Galloping Minds `Alphabets' video and we love it. These are the new versions. You can check that with the Galloping Minds sales people.

Again, like I said an old version that may be out there, can be thrown out of the window. This version is a breeze. The music is good, the animations are very cute. A bit like the Baby Einstein videos.

This video is very educational. It's great because Kate loves it and she's learnt to identify all kinds of geometric figures.. Circles, rectangles, ovals, spheres, squares and a lot more. The colors are vibrant. I absolutely love the variety. This video is about 30 minutes long. Having seen a lot of videos on Shapes and Colors from different producers, I would rank these videos as very, very good. I read the other reviews on their website. These videos are meant for educational fun and I think after watching my daughter, I can frankly say they are very educational and she watches them a lot.. So they are fun.

My neighbor's daughter has also been borrowing our DVDs to watch at her home. She and her little brother also seem to enjoy the dvds. Since, they borrow them pretty often.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend these videos to parents of 1-5 year olds. Do make sure you have the new version."

"Plenty of different Shapes and Colors. More than the other videos. My daughter loves the animation. We watch it together. Shapes coming together to form other shapes is a novel concept...especially the choo choo train. A definite must see. Very Cute.. and a great teaching tool for little kids. The Alphabets video from Galloping Minds is pretty good too!!"
