Movie Reviews

A Great Product

"Honestly, given what is going on in the world today I can't think of a more important time to order this DVD.

Quite simply, what this disk does is show you the impact of nuclear weapons at the end of World War II up into the 50s.

Unlike many similar DVDs, it doesn't get bogged down in a lot of politics or commentary. Instead it just gives you the real footage of the bombs exploding and lets you make your own decisions.

This is a clear, easy to load disk."

"My father bought me this DVD because he knows that I like vintage documentaries and it was a great gift.

Nukes are scary - let's face it - but the explosions when played out on a big screen television are incredible. The quality of the footage is very high - considering they were shot by the army while the bombs were going off.

I liked seeing the scenes of entire islands getting destroyed and the can't imagine what it would have been like to be one of the soldiers watching these bombs go off live."
