Member Movie Reviews K. K. (GAMER) Reviewed on 5/14/2022... I'm a fan of Matthew McConaughey but this was not all that great. Now, the series that just released, that's a much different story! Michel D. (michelann) from WALNUT GROVE, MO Reviewed on 6/8/2014... Matthew McConaughey is amazing! Whether he portrays a surfer who is always high as in Dazed and Confused or a ambulance chasing attorney in The Lincoln Lawyer he is always unbelievably good at what he does! This movie is about an old car (the Lincoln) and a young lawyer working and scraping his way up the ladder by dealing with the scum and low life that typically need cheap legal help. The fact that Mick (McConaughey) is basically honest with good intentions makes this memorable and the strong supporting cast including William H Macy, Ryan Phillippe, and Marisa Tomei give the entire movie a boost into grade A status. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
