I ordered this DVD rather blindly. At the time, I could not find any information online that did not somehow link it to the 1980s film I grew up with starring Fred Savage. I ordered it hoping there had been a Saturday morning cartoon that I was not aware of...I was wrong, but not totally disappointed. The cartoon reminded me of cartoons I enjoyed growing up with...Rugrats, Aaaaah! Real Monsters, Ren & Stimpy, etc. It wasn't a stuffy "goody-goody" cartoon, but it was not as crude/blunt as Garbage Pail Kids or Ren & Stimpy. Most stories do have a lesson, but it is not overly sugary. Many of the lessons are simply about being polite or maintaining personal hygiene. I think it would be appropriate for ages 8+ (just my personal opinion). Also, if you enjoyed Nicklodeon from the early 1990s or late 1980s (You Can't Do That on Television, Rugrats, etc.) You will probably enjoy this DVD. Movie ReviewsAwesome film!
