MI-5 is Amazing
Gina Bianchini | San Francisco, CA United States | 07/28/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am currently obsessed with this series after having a friend turn me on to it. It's perfect for the summer when the rest of my crime drama shows are on hiatus.

This also just might be the most realistic spy series ever produced. I have trouble sleeping (in a good way) after watching episodes. I would also add for those faint of heart this series is even more realistic and chilling in light of the tragic events in London this summer. Be aware of that. Also be aware that they are not afraid to kill off main characters without any of the "very special episode" hoopla of U.S. shows."
Fantastic!

"I have seen the first series at home in England and thought it was fantastic. Then, season 2 came out - just as good if not better. There are a few huge events that occur so the cast changes, but all the new guys and brilliant. Since I moved here, I have been looking for season 1 and 2 under the BBC name of Spooks, I couldn't find it anywhere, then I saw that it was called Mi-5. It honestly made my day, sad but true. I cannot wait to show my friends, over here in the Ol' US how fanastic this is."
Amazing TV series

"This riveting series from BBC is about a fictionalized MI5 which comes in contact with MI6, CIA, politics, terrorism, computer hacking, etc. - the story lines are amazing. If you like espionage and cloak and dagger stuff, this is for you! There is also great acting and the music score really adds to the suspense. I saw the original series on TV but seeing it at home and being able to stop and review the action is the way to go. This is edge-of-the-seat excitement! The DVD's also contain interviews with the production staff and stars which is great background info about the series. As the series progresses, they replace a few of the stars - I must admit that I was very dismayed when that happened but they were smart to replace them with other great actors who will definitely maintain your interest. I can't wait until the next DVD comes out! Currently there are 3 DVD's, one for each season and the 4th season will be starting on TV soon."
