This film is amazing. I watched this film on a plane home to the USA from Iceland; it was a random choice, and I probably wouldn't have gone out of my way to watch it (yet another rock documentary on Bob Marley) had I not been limited in film choices on the plane. Well, it was worth the view, and repeated viewings besides. The film is deeply moving, a complex portrait of a complex man, the good, the bad, and the sad. By the end of the film, the man becomes legend and his music, politics and image supersede everything that he ever was as a person in life. I hope someday to travel to Jamaica to see not only the imprint of Jamaica on Bob Marley but Bob Marley's lasting and deeply moving imprint on Jamaica itself. Really worth your time; watch this.
