Excellent, lighthearted romp with a charming cast and a lovely old-world setting!

The action takes place on Lake Como, mostly in a gorgeous antique resort. No better place for a romantic comedy, although set at a serious time in the world (1937).

Uma Thurman is a manipulative, man-eating young flirt. She gathers in the attentions of an older man (Edward Fox) who should know better and follow his initial instincts toward the lovely Vanessa Redgrave. Don't fret. It all turns out OK.

I am of an advanced age and loved it. My adult children and grandchildren probably need another few decades to join me in my appreciation.
