Member Movie Reviews Robert B. (rbrown) from STARKVILLE, MS Reviewed on 2/13/2021... Gregory Peck stars as a WW2 pilot in Burma who’s got a death wish because his wife was killed in a bombing. The camp doctor takes him on a trip to a nearby village, where he meets a refugee named Anna, who suddenly gives him something to live for. As fate would have it, however, his plane goes down over enemy territory on a routine mission, and he has to fight for his and his two passengers’ lives as they try to reach safe territory. I stumbled across this film on Turner Classic Movies one day and couldn’t tear myself away from it. It’s now one of my favorite films, with perhaps the most perfect ending of any movie that I’ve ever seen. Don’t miss this one.
