"The show first telecasted on 9/17/1992 until its last telecast on 4/4/1997 for a total of 5 seasons and 110 episodes.
The cast for this show are: * Reno Raines/Vince Black ..... Lorenzo Lamas * Bobby Sixkiller ..... Branscombe Richmond * Cheyenne Phillips (1992-1996) ..... Kathleen Kinmont * Lt./Marshal Donald"Dutch"Dixon ..... Stephen J. Cannell * Sgt.Frank"Woody"Bickford ..... Ron Johnson (Occasional) * Hound Adams(1993-1996) ..... Geoffrey Blake (Occasional) * Sandy Caruthers(1996-1997) ..... Sandra Ferguson
In the fall of 1994 (Season 3), Dutch Dixon caught up with Reno, who then went on trail for the murder Dixon had originally pinned on him at the start of the series (Dutch Dixon is the corrupt cop hunting Reno down. It was he who had murdered the cop Reno had been framed for killing, and he had also been responsible for the fatal shooting of Reno's fiancee.) Sleazy Hound Adams was set to testify with evidence that would have exonerated Reno and pinned the crime on Dixon, but Adams doubled-crossed our hero and Reno was convicted of murder with special circumstances. While being transferred from one prison to another Reno escaped and resumed bounty hunting for Bobby and his search for Adams or other evidence to prove his innocence.

"I just got my 'Renegade' Season 1 DVD and I LOVE IT! The shows are just a 'fresh' today as they were when I first watched it on tv...unlike others that seem corny after years gone by. Reno, Bobby, Cheyenne, martial arts, and Harleys...what's not to like?? I highly recommend this DVD and am anxiously awaiting Season 2. I truly hope they release every season on DVD so I can purchase the complete series."
Lorenzo Lamas at his best!!!!!

"This television series offered plenty of action every episode. Lorenzo Lamas plays police officer,Reno Raines, on the run for being framed for the murder of his fiance by Lt. Dutch Dixon (played by series creator Stephen J. Cannell). Under the alias of Vince Black, he works for Bobby Sixkiller (played by Branscombe Richmond), as a bounty hunter. Joined by Sixkiller's sister Cheyenne Phillips, (played by then wife of Lorenzo Lamas Kathleen Kinmont),they capture fugitives and help keep Reno Raines from the clutches of Lt. Dixon. The series ran from 1992-1997, with the final season as an USA original cable series. Kathleen Kinmont was not in the final season due to her and Lorenzo Lamas getting a divorce. Each episode was exciting and well paced. There is a lot of martial arts, shoot-outs, and chases in this series. Lorenzo Lamas even directed an episode of the series during its run. This series is long overdue to come to home video and is highly recommended."
All I can say here is YAY!!!!!!! well and WHOOHOO!!!

""He was a cop and good at his job but he committed the ultimate sin and testified against other cops gone bad. Cops that tried to kill him but got the woman he loved instead. Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands. An outlaw hunting outlaws, a bounty hunter, a renegade." Fans are familiar with the words that precede every show along with the music akin to a western. Lorenzo Lamas portrays the extremely rugged and sexy Reno Raines, who along with Bobby Sixkiller (played by Branscombe Richmond) and his little sister Cheyenne Phillips (played by Lamas ex wife Kathleen Kinmont) hunt down criminals and bring them in, ones with a nice bounty on their heads of course. The show has a little something for both genders. It has the action and great martial arts scenes and it also has the romance occasionally. The show has a wide spread cast of characters that make it colorful. The "bad guy" throughout the whole series is Lt Dutch Dixon and his sidekick (of whom no one seems to remember HIS name). The show is a lot of fun. It has it's shaky moments like all shows but it's really good if you give it a chance. If you missed it the first time around or when it was in syndication then I suggest you don't miss it this time. I could probably write about this show all day because I love it so much. But I won't. I am VERY excited about it finally coming out on DVD I can't wait to own it and hopefully the rest that better follow."
