RETURN OF THE SCORPION- I have to admit that I enjoyed this for a little while. When you see the names Thomas Tang and Joseph Lai's on the credits when it begins, you ALWAYS know that it is gonna be bad. So since I spent about $3 (with shipping) on this, I decided to let it play past teh thomas tang credits. (Very rare for me) It tries to be a "knife" movie, must have been the time when the Shaw Brothers were doing those kind. But it is just another imitation. It starts with some master of a school beign killed. So this fat guy goes and takes down everybody at teh place where the killer is. For that he goes to jail. I stuck with it for like another 2 minutes, woke up with 10 minutes lef, fastforwarded, and the finale is the most unspectacualr tyhing I have ever seen. DRAGONFORCE-these guys want to rob a treasure. Then the leader of the group has different plans. And then the fighting starts and it somehow gets even more stupid. I would rate return of the scorpion a tad over this one. SO I AM WARNIGN YOU PEOPLE NOT TO BUY THIS THING. NO PHILLIP KO. NO CASSANOVA WONG. I DIDN'T EVEN GET CLIFF LOK!" |
