Movie Reviews

Bonjour!
Scorpio69 | Hawaii, America's Paradise | 09/09/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"In American "everyman" Rick Steves, we have a most genial and never-too-intellectual armchair travel guide. His slightly dorky manner and low-key delivery make his shows very easy and fun to watch.

This series on France has already taken a couple of trips through my DVD player, and has definitely whetted my appetite to take 'Hippie Backpack Trip II: 35 Years Later' next summer. I won't be staying in any youth hostels this time around, but will instead utilize the small hotels recommended by Rick. And you can forget that 2nd Class Student Eurail Pass stuff, too.

I may, however, grow another beard and fall madly in love again. :)"
