"I MUST SAY THERE COULD NEVER BE A BETTER MARTIAL ART MOVIE THAN SHAOLIN TEMPLE AGAINST LAMA. THE FIGHT SCENE IS SO POWERFUL IT WILL HAVE YOU REWINDING YOUR TAPE OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE PLOT AND THEME IS WONDERFUL, IT IS A MUST SEE MOVIE, LOT OF ACTION,HUMOUR NOT TO MENTION THE FINAL DUEL. YOU WOULD LOVE IT. GO AND BUY A COPY OR RENT A COPY NOW. "This is Shaolin Against Lama. It's not Shaolin Vs. Lama. It's not just a case of two different translations of the same title. They are separate movies. Both were made around 1983/84, and both star Alexander Lo Rei and William Yen. To add to the confusion, for some reason the cover of the Ground Zero/Black Belt Theater edition of SAL shows a picture of Lo Rei's character from SVL. The tell-tale difference between the two movies is that SAL does not star Chang Shan, whose battles with Lo Rei in SVL help make that movie a classic of the kung fu genre. Instead, Shaolin Against Lama is an above average kung fu movie with good fight scenes and a convoluted storyline."
