Movie Reviews

Incredible
tamiii | San Juan Capistrano, Ca. United States | 12/08/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I feel obliged to begin by saying: O.K. I realize that there are plenty who will pass this movie with good reason: a gay man seduces his sister (!); a drugee remains lucid and sensitive to her brother's philosophical pleadings (!); a man dying of brain cancer remains sufficiently in control to be a top (!); as I said, O.K. Nevertheless, the acting, the directing, the cinematography make this incredible story somehow touching; yes, I said it, touching. So maybe it is European--but, yes but, there is something worth hearing here: caring is important even if the story is not exactly cinema verite."
