Movie Reviews

Great performance, but too short.

"Dave, Dave and Chas are on top of their game here. Good choice of songs. Great vocals. Only real criticism is that it could have been a bit longer. I realize they were the opening act, but still. Anyway highly recommended to any Strawbs fan. 40 years on !!"
Great Music But Where's 5.1?

"I just received this today and watched it tonight. I've been a Strawbs fan since Bursting at the Seams was released. These guys have always been a favorite of mine. I could't wait to watch this! The concert is rather short, but after all, they were opening for Rick Wakeman. And I would have preferred the entire band. Taking that into account, I was very pleased with the Music. But for the life of me, I couldn't get the sound to play in 5.1, either in DTS or Dolby Digital. There is no choice in the menu to change the audio track at all! No 5.1, even though it states there is both a DTS and Dolby Digital sound track. Plus, even though the picture was 16x9 widescreen, it wasn't enhanced for that size screen. So, unless you zoom in there is a black frame around the entire picture. If anyone knows how to get the 5.1 track from this, please let me know. Otherwise, this is a great concert, even though it is pretty short."
