Suspects is a 5 season British police procedural drama aired from 2014 to 2016, filmed in the former London Electricity Building on Cambridge Heath Road, London, which certainly adds to the bleak lives this tight knit team is living. The episodes are well scripted, quick paced, and it was often hard to guess the culprits, even though there's not much in the way of false leads to be had. Production had a small twist: The actors didn't have a script. The plot was described roughly for them, and actors improvised the dialogue and their reactions. I couldn't tell the difference and I think it made this series even better. Although this might also account for the amount of cussing within. To be honest I think I've only ever worked with one or two people who might have cussed this much daily, which made this show a little unrealistic for me at least.

Things roll along great through season 4. Then season 5 hits, and the scripting literally soars through the stratosphere. The entire final season is a jewel of a masterpiece. It's a non-stop ride of absolute interwoven insanity. And it rocks this crew down to the core and beyond. It's a rare treat to run into storytelling this talented, and we couldn't stop watching till the end.

This program did great over seas. So well, that it's getting a separate German and a Dutch remake.
