In yet another retelling of Homer's Odyssey, Zirio stars as Uli, a former soldier turned drug-runner(?) who navigates the "seas" of Italian night clubs and drug dens searching for his lost wife. The film uses the 'fill-in-the-holes-of-amnesia' plot device to advance the adaptation and explain the cast of characters he has to encounter in order to parallel the Odyssey. This attempt leaves a fairly murky plot in its wake and some fairly long, unnecessary scenes that slow the movie too much. There are a number of hand-to-hand combat scenes, but for some reason the action is often "choppy" for intensity (perhaps?) and the focus is usually off-center, so the choreography is missed or obscured. This is fairly annoying and is either due to poor fight sequencing, or bad judgment by the director.
