Movie Reviews

Fun, and uplifting combination of stories
Tenna Merchent | Noblesville, IN USA | 02/15/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Both of these stories are worth watching. Sheerluck Holmes ego gets out of control and he doesn't acknowledge how important Watson's contributions are. Of course, this leads to disaster. He realizes his mistakes, and is humble and sorry. A good reminder of how important it is to keep our ego in check, and appreciate the contributions of others.

The ballad of Little Joe is a more complicated story. It is the story of little Joe, who is abandoned by his jealous brothers in a mine shaft, and ends up in Dodge Ball city. He interprets the dreams of his fellow prisoners, and eventually has the opportunity to interpret a dream for the king, and makes big opportunities for Little Joe.

Both stories are extremely well animated, with endearing characters, and catchy music. They are both up to the Veggie Tale excellent standards.
