"I agree absolutely with the reviewer Morrison who wrote the first review I just read here. This CD is truly outstanding. Even if you are not too fond of Mahler, you will like it.

I am an absolute Mahler adorer and the more I hear (and see) Thomas Hampson sing, the more I like what I hear and see. And the more I hear him sing Mahler, the more I like him!

I also think that Wolfram Rieger is outstanding in his playing. These songs are extremely difficult for the pianist, and Rieger gives us truly exceptional performances, and we see how much he is enjoying it as well!

An absolute must for any Mahler lover"
