Old west and civil war plotline and the law if you like those kinds of stories!

Great, modern-made western with everything in it...hanging, shooting, killing, fights, and a love story.

Finally a really good western movie. McDonough + McQueen play father + son sheriffs who hunt down a psycho bad guy post- Civil War. Locations were great. Some good one-liners. McQueen keeps evolving as an actor since Vampire Diaries - can't wait to see his next projects. Tho McDonough can sound stoic with some line deliveries in all his movies, I like his voice + his "monotone" delivery which seems almost stylistic for him. The sidekick was a great character too. Gotta have that role in a western!
