The pinnacle of ultra low budget zombie movie sets. Contains 3 chunk blowers. Due to bad acting these are great party movies.

So bad that its good....
Evilzombie | Lancaster, CA USA | 10/24/2007

"This movie was literally so bad and crappy that it was good and can be called a masterpiece! It actually went so far over the line of how bad it could be that it pulled a pac-man and did a loop back to the awsome side of movies. Expect a budget in the movies on about the same level as Plan 9 From Outer Space.

If you like to laugh at how they do the effects or at the acting then you are gonna have a great time. Probably a good party movie."
Worth buying for part 1

"first of all, do not buy this if you need good acting, convincing special effects, a clever plot or the cgi filled, younger audience aimed horror style that plagues the big screen these days. do buy this if youre a fan of low budget, in your face gore and "beer and pizza" style sleaze films. thats exactly what the zombie bloodbath trilogy offers. all 3 of these films were made for next to no money, shot on video with locals, family and friends of the director and are ment to be cheesy, fun and not taken to seriously, but unfortunately only the 1st film is fun while the second and third are complete trash, the third one being(and i am NOT exagerating)the worst movie i have ever seen. the 1st zombie bloodbath is an entertaining, trashy no budget gore flick that while it is undoubtably a z grade film with no reedeeming qualities, it is still damn enjoyable! i actually saw a bit of the 1st with a friend of mine who had a bootleg copy. 30 minutes into it i begged him to turn it off. he showed mercy and stopped the film. i still dont know why i decided to spend $8 on this dvd after being sodisgusted with what i saw. i am very happy i decided to give this little treat another chance beause after sitting through the entire thing(wich isnt saying much considering the movie only clocks in at around 68-70 minutes)i was pleasantly surrised and was amazed to find myself actually enjoying zombie bloodbath in all its cheese and absurdity. i watched it twice in one day, the second time listening to director todd sheets audio comentary wich had me further appreciate the film after hearing that he knew he wasnt making art and just making a fun homage to the films of fulci, romero and mattei. after my enjoyment of zombie bloodbath i expected the sequel to give me twice the thrills, chills and spills. unfortunately as i stated earlier zombie bloodbath 2 is not worth the cheap video tape is was shot on. that sounds a little harsh and i didnt hate the film completely but it just didnt serve up the same style of sleaze and cheese that made the original so fun. this flick is just to slow and cheap to keep my attention. when the zombies are on screen its pretty cool, their makeup has improved since the first film and some of the attacks are well done but its to little to late. alot of scenes just drag on and on. the acting was better than the first film in that the actors show some emotion, but at the same time some actors over do it and the dialouge is very corny and i dont mean b-horror film corny, i mean sope opera corny. for example, as a guy slowly transforms into a zombie he spits out a bunch of emotional crap like "i'll become an empty shell of a man" or something along those lines. i mean come on! i at least got some chuckles out of this but that couldnt keep this from being a pretty boring mess. maybe i'll listen to mr. sheets commentary track and appreciate it more but as of now i dont think i'll be revisiting this film. now, last and definately least, zombie bloodbath 3. as i said this is the worst film i have ever seen.for a film shot in 2000, youd think the picture quality would have improved even though its still shot on video, but every frame is covered in a hazy grain and the ocasional video ripple that reaaly reminds you that your viewing a very cheap film. this film is boring, pointless and i will never punish myself again by wasting an hour and a half veiwing this garbage. mr. sheets realy put to much on his plate for this one. with a plot involving a future war, time travel and space ships i cant see how he thought he'd be able to pull it off. the acting is horribly over the top and often laughable, the gore is cheaper than ever and to top it all of, the majority of the film takes place in a high school! this film is just dreadful. it should also be noted that this movie may have more F bombs than martin scorsese's Casino(a great movie by the way, check it out if you enjoy mob flicks) the amount of swearing is just unbeleivable in some scenes. an actor wil literally spit out the F word after every couple words. one scene in particular has some annoying, overactor discovering hes responsible for the zombie invasion(dont ask, it all fits into the time travel element). he then proceeds to freak the F out and, i kid you not, spouts out at least a dozen F bombs in rapid fire. there are also a duo of tough black dudes, one sporting a fake looking afro and cheap 70's clothes, who are in the world of this movie a couple of action stars who are at the school helping out the drama class and inedvertently(big word, not sure about the spelling) get pulled into the fight for survival. its all just absolutely ludicrous. zombie bloodbath 3 is simply a peice of garbage. this may be why there is no audio commentary, todd sheets may be to ashamed. i really feel kinda sad. with a great little indie flick like zombie bloodbath you realy fell theres some potential for the sequels, but, there both a dissapointment, the second one being kinda dull, with spurts of energy and the third one being absolutely unwatchable. i know i'm being hard on the sequels and i dont like trashing films and todd sheets seems to be a very nice guy, but i dont think i'll be coming back any time soon to parts 2 and 3. with all this negative energy aside, the original zombie bloodbath is great fun and really shows how alot of commited people can make something thats fun and thats all zombie bloodbath is, its just fun. the original zombie bloodbath gets this set a 4/5 rating. the sequels count as bonus materials in my mind. fans of gore, sleaze, zombies and bad taste should definately look into picking this up. also, keep a look out for a mr. jerry engel whos mullet and handle bar mustache help him steal the show whenever he's on screen!"
