The genres are a little weird here...a lot of the fantasy I like is also animation or comedy.

A genre search under "fantasy" should answer that quite well.

But I would say it runs a fair range of movies, from the classic swords and sorcery of movies like Excalibur, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, to less obvious flights of fancy such as the classic Harvey, Bedazzled (old and new), What Dreams May Come.

I'm a big fan and have been able to find quite a few titles here.

I say hooray for good fantasy, and a pox on all the crappy fantasy movies that have strated flooding movie theatres ever since the Lord of the Rings came out.

My fantasy favorites:

Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, Enchanted, Pan's Labyrinth, Flight of Dragons, The Neverending Story, The Last Unicorn, The Crow, The 10th Kingdom (tv miniseries), A Midsummer Night's Dream. The Odyssey, Ladyhawke, Alice in Wonderland, The Seventh Seal, Merlin (tv miniseries), Dragonheart, Jason and the Argonauts,  Jim Henson's the Storyteller (tv series), Stardust, The Golden Compass, The Princess Bride, Edward Scissorhands and Beowulf

I am a sucker for dragons and fairies still haven't found out why. The movies like dragon heart and eragon are always winners with me. A mistical bond between the magical and the mortal giving the mortal a chance to rise above and be someone.

Those same bonds are in movies like peterpan and the apprentice. Few other heros stand out to me as strongly as the ones that where born normal and just made friends with others that gave them power.
