Although Donavon plays his classic hits, gets right into it with the crowd and has a fantastic documentary showing the build up to his show, I cant help but feel it was just... well... good?
Nothing really stood out for me. It just looked like he got support off a big band and played around with a few songs to extend them etc for crowds sake but nothing really grabbed me, and ive seen him live before and he's totally rocked it. I dunno, I love the acoustic set etc but this dvd didn't make the impression on me that it did with others on here. Get it if you are a die hard fan, otherwise expect to be a bit disappointed with its average overall feel. " |
