Movie Reviews

This angel is on a mission from God...
Richard J. Brzostek | New England, USA | 06/10/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

""Angel in Krakow" is about an angel, Giordano, sent on a mission to Earth to help it's people. The movie is family-friendly and would likely be rated "PG" by American standards. It is an enjoyable comedy, but also a few serious moments, such as the ending, which sets the stage for the new sequel, "Angel in Love."

As Giordano (Krzysztof Globisz) interacts with people and the world they live in, which are all new experiences to him, and everything he does is a delight. His actions are almost childlike, but give one pause to see how we take everyday things for granted. Furthermore, the angel's excitement over mundane things like a train, a cow, or riding in a car, is quite funny.

Although the film is about angels, Heaven and God, it is not an overly religious film. If you are looking for a humorous film for the entire family, "Angel in Krakow" has something for everyone.
