Movie Reviews

The Best Of Del Shannon live
R. Paavo | Michigan | 02/10/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This DVD contains six songs from Del Shannon. All the tunes can be found on two separate volumes of the Rock 'n' Roll Palace series, but if you want Del's hits on one DVD, here they are. The picture and sound quality (true stereo) are very good. The song list: Hats Off To Larry, Handy Man, I Go To Pieces, Little Town Flirt, Keep Searchin' (We'll Follow The Sun), and Runaway. There's an opening intro by Wolfman Jack. And you can see the most beautiful girl in the world when Shannon sings I Go To Pieces. The DVD lasts about 20 minutes."
Worth The Price

"I enjoyed Del Shannon's songs on the DVD, especially Hats Off To Larry, Handy Man, and Runaway. I would have liked more shots of Shannon, the singer, instead of the crowd dancing in the audience. Also the song Runaway is played last and has credits interrupting the picture. However, for the price, I would recommend this DVD to you if you enjoy Del Shannon."

"Only slightly remember seeing this show, probably on TNN back when I was in High school. Of course he sounds great - would have given 5 stars if there were more tracks. But, glad I purchased anyway."
