One of Michael Keaton's better roles as a drug addict that feels he doesn't have a problem. Life caves in on him unexpectedly, and with one step at a time starts his road to sobriety and recovery. Even though this is a rather serious film about a serious topic it does have subtle elements of humor. The film also has great supporting roles by Morgan Freeman and Kathy Baker.
