This a fine trip down memory lane for those of us over 50. The athletes and events covered beautifully in these stories are legendary. Younger sports fans will get a marvelous bunch of history lessons, with inside scoops on a bunch of names from history.

Since these include older films, watchers weaned on current technology may become impatient with blurry clips and occasionally garbled audio from the days of rabbit ears TV. A little forebearance will yield a rewarding experience.

High recommendation for a well-researched, insightful series.

(I just finished Volume 1 and Volume 2 is on the way from SADVD.)
