"Forgotten" is a bizarre little story that explores a scary premise: namely, what if everyone around you suddenly never remembered your children? It begins as a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing. What's happening? Who's behind it? How are they doing it? And is this woman really crazy after all? As we slowly unearth the explanation, the film delves into science fiction, which is not a bad thing as long as you're aware of that and willing to accept it. I'm a big fan of sci-fi and enjoyed the explanation (which, I thought, was the only possible explanation for the occurences), but as "The Forgotten" is marketed as a psychological thriller, the unexpected sci-fi angle may put off someone who's not expecting it. But if you go into it expecting some unexpected events, you'll be rewarded with a fast-moving, entertaining film.

Has anyone noticed how a whole bunch of great movies have only 3 stars? I love this movie. I liked it because it was thought provoking to me. Yet it only has a 3 star review. I dont get it. Half the really good movies on here only have a 3 star rating. I would at least give this one a 3.5 or a 4 star review. Plus some movies that are awful in my opinion have a 4 or 5 star review. For the third time I will say... I dont get it.
