Even though this had a very low rating, I wanted to watch it for myself for a few reasons: 1 - it was filmed at the Salt Lake Flats and my sister lives in Salt Lake City 2 - it has a couple of top-notch stars 3 - it has a top-notch director 4 - it was written by Matt Damon There is very little dialogue in this movie. It's all about friendship and endurance. To be honest, I've seen better movies about this subject. This was not my favorite. Synopsis: A Suspenseful highly provocative story of two men pushed to the limit. A pair of best friends (Affleck and Damon), who've nicknamed each other "Gerry," set out on a desert hike. But what begins as a simple daytime adventure turns into an intense life-and-death journey that will test the strength of human endurance and ultimately their friendship. 2 of 3 member(s) found this review helpful.
